A little history –Sant Feliu de Guíxols-Sant Pol Beach
During the first third of the 20th century, the city began to receive the first powerful and
aristocratic families, attracted by the benefits of the sun and sea. The baths of Sant Elm
and Sant Pol –later called S’agaró, give name to the city and the region became one of the
most glamorous places in the Costa Brava, where lot of them build luxury villas on the
beach of Sant Pol
Property description:
The Property popularly known as the “The house of Needles”, these spikes or towers that
give name him correspond to each one of the children of Mr. Estrada, who made raise them
with commemorative character. The Property was built between 1890-1912. The owner of
the property, Pere Màrtir Estrada, was the first to have a residential building built in this
area. One of the most remarkable elements of this building are window ornament moldings,
with Typically Catalan Modernist Period plant decoration.
The property is protected as a cultural asset of local interest.
